Electric Car Chargers for your Business
For installations at your place of business whether it be an office building, corporate campus, or any other place of work, we offer and highly recommend the EVBox range of chargers. Why? EVBox chargers come with all the smart features of the Zappi charger and leveraging renewable energy, but also includes smart billing and multiple vehicle charging.
For larger & more robust installations we also use the EVBox & Rolec commercial range of high-quality chargers. These types of installations can be networked, load managed & controlled using back office management software. There is also an option to have in-house or 3rd party auto-billing.
For super-fast charging, we have a range of DC chargers to suit your needs.
Like our other chargers, both Rolec & EVBox chargers are weatherproof, shockproof, and rated for both freezing and scorching temperatures. With clean lines and features, you get a station that not only performs but looks clean and sleek on any building.

Public Charger Options
While away from home or the office you will undoubtedly want to be able to charge your vehicle. The ESB have rolled out a network of EV charges throughout the country, refer to this link for locations of such points. As of 10th August 2020 charging using this service is no longer free. (As these charges are higher than the standard domestic rate. This makes it even more compelling to install your own charger.)
These charging locations offering a combination of the above types of charging. They also offer another DC charger option using CCS & CHAdeMO. Most cars are fitted with either type of these sockets as well. This is a super-fast way of charging your vehicle, normally to 80% charge within 15 minutes.
After Work - Home Charging Options
At home after work, your EV car can be charged either during the day or by night taking advantage of off-peak electricity cost that can be up to 50% cheaper than the day tariff. You can control your charger point & generate charging expenses reports via a smartphone app (not part of the basic version). EV Chargers can be interfaced with other forms of green energy i.e Wind Turbines, Photovoltaic Solar Systems. These options can drastically reduce already cheap charging costs & in some cases can eliminate these costs altogether. Battery storage is also another option.
Tesla Connector Chargers
Tesla have their own specific type of charger on earlier models, but an adaptor can be used for charging at private or public charging points. Later models use the Type 2 connector as mentioned above. Tesla also have their own network of charging points, see Find Us | Tesla for more details.
EV Company Cars
Employers are being encouraged to switch over to more environmental forms of motoring. With the no BIK tax (up to €50K purchase price) incentive and both the reduction in fuel/road tax cost, this both helps & incentivises employers & employees switch over to electric vehicles.
